Baptism
Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism
into death, that just as Christ was raised from the
dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also
should walk in newness of life.
--Romans 6:4
We understand that baptism is not a prerequisite
for salvation; rather, it is a public declaration of
our belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In the
words of Charles Spurgeon, "Baptism
sets forth the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ,
and our participation therein."
If you would like to be baptized here at Crossroads Church of Denver, all adult and teen
candidates are required to attend a brief
class offered in the at 10:30 am and 12:30 pm
on the Sundays two weeks prior to the actual
baptism. Children 8 years old through 6th grade may also be
baptized if they have parental consent and attend a class
offered in the at 10:30am on the Sunday of the baptism.
